Dinan, City of Art and History

"..this ancient and beautiful city, stone-crafted, cleaving to the rocks as a house martin's nest above the precipice!" Victor Hugo

Bring your most comfortable shoes and explore the streets, squares, gardens and monuments on foot in order to immerse yourself in the special atmosphere of this magical town.

Discover historic buildings, religious treasures, art and craft studios and exhibitions, the theatre, concerts, cultural events and festivals, local markets, museums, boat trips…….

And within a 30km radius…picturesque rural towns and villages, lakes, fishing, watersports, golf, horseriding, chateaux, castles, coastal paths and sandy beaches.

Too much history, culture and fresh air? Then make a hasty retreat into one of the numerous bars, creperies, and restaurants, each with its own special appeal.

Of course, Dinan also has some lovely shops!

But enough words….now enjoy a few more of Brenda's photos…but not too many since we want to leave some surprises for you to uncover.
